Smith Rock can be seen at the far right. This water level indicates the original one created by the most recent Chesuncook Dam, prior to Rip Dam's construction in 1916. Smith Rock has TWO rings to catch booms: one at the upper ledge, and one on the ledge seen here.

This building was moved to the spring at the upper village. It has nearly fallen in at its present location.

The boat pulled up at right of center was one of the tow boats. You can see the long pier at the far right, and there's part of a pier at the far left.

The fence line could still be found today. This was taken after Rip Dam was built. Note the driftwood along the shore line which is about the same contour as today.

Most likely prior to 1916. Note the shoreline on Gero Island as well as the large fields there.
