Myra was the Postmistress for a number of years. This camp is now gone. Myra's original camp burned after her buddy, Roscoe Macdonald, caused a fire during one of his benders. He felt pretty bad about it, and built the camp that is now owned by the Doans at the same location. During the rebuilding, which took several years to complete, the Post Office was run from the little camp now owned by the Jackass Annie Gang. Myra's husband, Nick Mulligan, predeceased her. They're in the village cemetery.
When Alec Gunn brought up the mail three days a week, Myra would kick us out of her Post Office mail sorting area while she sorted out the mail (regulations, of course ! ), but would welcome us back to pick up what was ours.
